When we show our love to others, whether they are friend or stranger, it come out of the ability that we have developed in loving God and ourselves.

     The challenge that we face in surviving in a world where we must be accountable for our own action in the midst of the fact that we must co-operate with other people that we disagree with as well as those we agree with.

     We see in the political arena how it is vital to learn to love one another in the midst of disagreement that can sometimes get ugly. We see in the marriage situation, which is the primary training ground for developing love in the differences that are bound together in responsibility accountability and love. This is a human principle that crosses national, age, religious, political, social, and educational boundaries.

      find it hard to understand the reasoning that people give for the positions that they hold when they are based on gettting a position, or keeping a position purely for the power that it gives the holder of the position.

     I watch people defend a person simply because it keeps a situation in place that will allow them to take advantage of that situation to get what they want, no matter what it may cost other people; they will justify that stand with every things that is in them, except their lives, yet they will justify it with someone elses life or someone elses money.

     In the case of the democratics and the republicans in the present day; taxes is someone elses money, taken away from them by the government for the common good of all the people. The republicans say less taxes on the individual so that the individual can spend more more as they see fit, the democratics say that  the the need that the government has as they help the people are such that, you can't depend on the individual to do the right thing, and therefore the government must take the money away from one to give it to another, as they see fit.  

     When a one person is not grounded in the reality that in spite of the human shortcomings, every individual must somehow, have a part and take part in the things of government that affect their lives. To accomplish that necessary task is not easy.

          There is one thing that is said about Jesus that in some real way must be true of all of us. It is said that Jesus was tempted in all points like as we are yet, without sin. We must be touch by the things that those we are to deal with are touch in some way, that we can comprehend to some level what they are having to go through to get to the place we should and can be. It is an individual choice as to whether or not we get there. whether we get there or not, the choice must be ours.

     There are times when it is to easy for those of us that have acheived power to assume that we know what is best for others when in fact it is best for that which we selfishly desire for our selves.
