Welcome To My Point Of View: As I see It....
Let this mind be in you, which was in Christ...
It is important for me to say that the prospective that I may have on any subject is influenced by God and God's dealing with me in my life. Just as God is changing me into the image of Christ Jesus, it is the mind of Christ that we receive when we are born again. And, out the mind we think and the thoughts that we think and the opinions that we form is out of the mind of Christ that is within us. So it is out of the mind of Christ that I speak in this website. I must be noted that who we are,as born again believer, and expressing the the mind of christ is a growth process. Yet, it is present reality. Therefore; according to Philippians 2:3-14:
" 3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. 4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. 5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: 7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: 8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. 9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: 10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; 11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. 12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. 13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. 14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings: The reason that I use the amount of scripture is the beauty and meaningfulness of what it is saying, as well as how it speak to the point that I am trying to make.
I would like to look at different things that affect us in the world in which we live. It is important to consider the fact that much of the information that we get in the world in which we live is from the news and information sources that we have available to us, from television and radio, to newspapers and books. It is also notable that a great deal of the information that we have access to is the contact that we have with other people in our personal interactions. Because we are not God, and we cannot see all things, and we cannot know all things, we must acknowledge to our selves, that we present a point of view and a prospective. Therefore what we present is limited by that fact. So what I try to do is give you and share with you my point of view and prospective and hope that it will , by God's grace fit with that that God is giving to you.
There are a number of things that or pressing issues for us as Americans today; all of them center around survival; physical, mental, financial, social and most of all spiritual survival are some of the primary things that drives us to do the things that we do. These are the kinds of things that motive us. The most important thing that we, as human beings, should be concerned with is the one that is most neglected, that is the spiritual nature of our being. Although it is the most neglected, it is the one thatwill not be denied, even when we try.
We can debate about things like affirmative action, welfare, to the structure of America under what we call white rule. It is important to realize that in America there are no such things as white rule even when it looks like there is a majority of white in charge of the systems that control the direction that the nation goes. The truth is that all the people of America have an effect on what happens to and the ultimate direction that the nation take. When I make a choice sometimes that choice may be contrary to what I want for myself in the short run; yet, with due diligences, I am able to see that another choice will lead to that which is best for me and my family and my country in the long run.
It is not a philosophy or a belief system alone that destroy a people or a nation; it is the failure to seek and achieve a balance in all the things that we have available to them. The process of achieving the necessary balance requires constant thought and labor, and one person cannot do it alone. Sometimes the best thing that I or any individual can do is to do all that we can to not become an unnecessary weigh on the family and nation of which we are a member. If by God's grace we achieve the position of becoming a keeper of the principles and values of the community, nation, and world in which we live, we must do so with due consideration for the rich and the poor the sick and those that are healthy, the male and the female, the black and the white and all of the colors and races in the color spectrum. It is stated in the bible that there is nothing new under the sun; admittedly there may a number of ways of combining things that has not been done before. Many of us have personally experienced things that are new to us, and when this happens we must deal with it with due consideration for the human and environmental issues. All of this must, consider the one that created all things; the one out of whom all things come. However, to often, we who have ben made by God, fail to give God the honor that is due to God.
It is equally important to study God's word, and the things God has given to us and through us, so that how we see things is as God see them. It is not a matter of debate that this is true, it is the will of God. God says through Timothy " Study to show yourself approved unto God, a worker that do not need to be ashame righly receiving, understanding and giving out the word of God. It is not always easy to see things as God sees them, this is one of the reasons that God became a man in the person of Jesus Christ, to be God in the midst of creation and to be an example to of what God created human to be, as well as be our saviour, and Lord. As the writer of Colossian say, Col 1:19 "For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;" |
Things Spiritual
******* God said, " And God said, Let us make man (humans) in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." Genesis 1:26 "And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul." Genesis 2:7
Covenant, Contract, Agreement
Two of the basic and fundamental contracts that The Spiritual has made with Physical, is represented in the Covenant that God made with humans. The Covenant has never been changed in its essence, yet it has been upgraded, and always swallowing up the old into the new, respecting the vital and unfinished element of the old. The first Covenant that the bible reveals that God made with humans, which includes all creation is found in Genesis 1; " 27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. 28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth. 29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for meat. 30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein there is life, I have given every green herb for meat: and it was so. 31 And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." This is the Covenant that God made before the fall of the humans. Genisis 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil."
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: 17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. 18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him."
All of these things are elements of the Covenant being unfolded to the humans. God has always communicated with all other forms of life, by the limit of life that is all things that exist. It is only with the Humans that God speak to and walk with as a human would a friend. God reveals to the humans the things that God is doing and the part that humans are to play in the things that are. No where is it recorded that God made a contract with neither animals, plants nor any other inanimate thing that exist. I use the term inanimate in the limited sense, for all things that exist has some level of life in it. All things that exist react to air, water, earth, fire and the other elements of life. Yet, again, it is only humans that have a relationship with God wherein God made a covenant with them giving them dominion over all that God had made. In the book of the Psalms, Psalm 8:1-6 it is recorded: " Psalm 8 1 O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. 2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. 3 When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; 4 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? 5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. 6 Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands; thou hast put all things under his feet: 7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field; 8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. 9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth!"
It is clear to me from the scriptures above that humans are something special in the plan and purpose of God. This means that all humans, not just the men or the women, but all humans. This doesn't mean just the Americans or just White people, but all people. The Christ centered scriptures says, it is not God's will that any should perish but that all should be saved. However, in the wisdom of God there is a place prepared fro those who refuse to accept what God has purposed for them. Because God has given us the same ability that God has, humans also have the ability to reject God, and the life that God has for humans.

Views of other people that I value
This would also be a great place to include any new information or changes that you have made to your site recently. It is important to regularly change the content on your site and make updates to the information that you display. Doing this will help you to get more return visits from your visitors. *** It is not easy to speak for others even those who are close to you. So asa best as I can Iwill give their words as I see them when it is not possible to get their words directly from them. This is even more so the case when the subject is something as personal as God. |
Things Physical
The things that are physical in this world and all the world that we can see throught the devises that we as humans have, came into being by a force and factor that we know but do not fully understand. In this particular instant, and as I deal with it at this point, it does not matter whether we call the force and fact behind the things that exist God or evolution, it is something that is greater than we know about at the present time. In the Book of Genesis, " 1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. 2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. 3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. 4 And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. 5 And God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day. 6 And God said, Let there be a firmament in the midst of the waters, and let it divide the waters from the waters. 7 And God made the firmament, and divided the waters which were under the firmament from the waters which were above the firmament: and it was so. 8 And God called the firmament Heaven. And the evening and the morning were the second day. 9 And God said, Let the waters under the heaven be gathered together unto one place, and let the dry land appear: and it was so. 10 And God called the dry land Earth; and the gathering together of the waters called he Seas: and God saw that it was good. 11 And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. 12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 13 And the evening and the morning were the third day. 14 And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years: 15 And let them be for lights in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth: and it was so. 16 And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also. 17 And God set them in the firmament of the heaven to give light upon the earth, 18 And to rule over the day and over the night, and to divide the light from the darkness: and God saw that it was good. 19 And the evening and the morning were the fourth day. 20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven. 21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. 23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day. 24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. 25 And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. 26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth." What we see here is the this physical that has come into being. And here we see that it is God that is the instigator of these things coming into being. Even the element of time is something that is often confusing to us as humans. That is to say time as it is particularly related to the past; and even more particularl, time as it relates to anything beyond 6000 years ago, dealing with the creation of humans and the physical universe. Things like time as well as many other things has be the source of much confusion among people both those who are believer as well as non-believers.

Receiving physical things in a physical world
I believe that as the bible says, that it is God that gives us power to get wealth that God may establish God's covenant. The is a situation and a story in the book of Genesis where Abraham sent his servant to get a bride for his son Isaac. Abraham prepare the servant for any possible situation and physical need that the bride would have on her journey back to the home of Abraham, and Issac. And also the serrvant had whatever he would need to pay the dowery that the fanily would require for the lost, in marriage, of their daughter. Genesis 24 1 And Abraham was old, and well stricken in age: and the LORD had blessed Abraham in all things. 2 And Abraham said unto his eldest servant of his house, that ruled over all that he had, Put, I pray thee, thy hand under my thigh: 3 And I will make thee swear by the LORD, the God of heaven, and the God of the earth, that thou shalt not take a wife unto my son of the daughters of the Canaanites, among whom I dwell: 4 But thou shalt go unto my country, and to my kindred, and take a wife unto my son Isaac. The passage that follows is very precious, and what a marvelous picture of God, the Holy Spirit and the angels, of Jesus, and the Church. It shows that the bride of Christ has been prepared by God, to respond to the Holy Spirit, as The Spirit woos the soul to come to Christ. It is by Jesus and because of Jesus that we can come to God; and it is by the drawing power of the Holy Spirit that we as drwan to Christ to make a decision, about our relationship and reconnection to God. At whatever level, all people must make a decision about Christ as God came in the flesh to pay the price for humans separation from God. John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
10 And the servant took ten camels of the camels of his master, and departed; for all the goods of his master were in his hand: and he arose, and went to Mesopotamia, unto the city of Nahor. 11 And he made his camels to kneel down without the city by a well of water at the time of the evening, even the time that women go out to draw water. 12 And he said O LORD God of my master Abraham, I pray thee, send me good speed this day, and shew kindness unto my master Abraham. 13 Behold, I stand here by the well of water; and the daughters of the men of the city come out to draw water: 14 And let it come to pass, that the damsel to whom I shall say, Let down thy pitcher, I pray thee, that I may drink; and she shall say, Drink, and I will give thy camels drink also: let the same be she that thou hast appointed for thy servant Isaac; and thereby shall I know that thou hast shewed kindness unto my master. 15 And it came to pass, before he had done speaking, that, behold, Rebekah came out, who was born to Bethuel, son of Milcah, the wife of Nahor, Abraham's brother, with her pitcher upon her shoulder. 16 And the damsel was very fair to look upon, a virgin, neither had any man known her: and she went down to the well, and filled her pitcher, and came up. 17 And the servant ran to meet her, and said, Let me, I pray thee, drink a little water of thy pitcher. 18 And she said, Drink, my lord: and she hasted, and let down her pitcher upon her hand, and gave him drink. 19 And when she had done giving him drink, she said, I will draw water for thy camels also, until they have done drinking. 20 And she hasted, and emptied her pitcher into the trough, and ran again unto the well to draw water, and drew for all his camels. 21 And the man wondering at her held his peace, to wit whether the LORD had made his journey prosperous or not. 22 And it came to pass, as the camels had done drinking, that the man took a golden earring of half a shekel weight, and two bracelets for her hands of ten shekels weight of gold; 23 And said, Whose daughter art thou? tell me, I pray thee: is there room in thy father's house for us to lodge in? 24 And she said unto him, I am the daughter of Bethuel the son of Milcah, which she bare unto Nahor. 25 She said moreover unto him, We have both straw and provender enough, and room to lodge in. 26 And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LORD. 27 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of his mercy and his truth: I being in the way, the LORD led me to the house of my master's brethren.

Brothers forever and always
Brother begin with and it flows out like a river The two brothers that are pictured here are just two of the many brothers that I have. With the half and the step brothers that I am blessed to have, there are ten of us. Family begins with birth and is expanding through marriage and adoption. It does not matter the method that is involved, when God sanctify the method of family and the government has the wisdom to know and accept what God is and has done, family is a very special thing. The views and opinions of family and friends are valuable to me. The views and opinions of people that are passionate in their search for information and truth is vital to me and to all of us. To often the views and thoughts of family are not sought nor are they valued as they ought, that is until it is too late. When we have lost the wisdom and information of a family or friend in their death, we suddenly see and desire to have that which they had. If we are not careful we will try to seek to find from these loved one through communicating with the dead. Whether this is right or wrong, it is something that God have commanded us as believers not to do. We may not have a hundred different reasons why we should not communicate with the dead; however we do have the word of God that says to us not to do it. And we have at least one example of King Saul doing it and the outcome of that. Too often because the consequences of certain action do not follow immediately after the action, we fail to connect the dots, and thus cannot see the relationship. We then feel that we can do whatever we want to do, in spite of the things that God says. I have always thought and still think that the children of my bothers and sisters are my children as well. Godparents are good and fine but they should not take the place of family. There are times when the friends that God brings into our lives are more faithful to us than many of those that are family. As wonderful as this is, it still should not and in the eyes of the law and the laws of God do not supersede what a family member is.
